Pundit Puja Online is committed to fair and transparent refund practices. This Refund Policy applies to all bookings made through the Platform and forms part of our Terms & Conditions. By making a booking, you agree to the terms of this policy.
Cancellation & Refund Schedule
Refunds for customer-initiated cancellations are processed based on the time remaining before the booked puja date and time:

* "Basic Expenses" refers to non-recoverable costs already incurred, such as samagri procurement, vendor fees, or advance payments to Pundits.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
- Services that have been fully completed as booked.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the puja.
- Cases where the user failed to prepare the venue or was absent during the service.
- Dissatisfaction with spiritual outcomes, ritual style, or religious interpretation (as outlined in our Disclaimer).
- Bookings where samagri/prasadam has already been dispatched.
Pundit No-Show Policy
If the assigned Panditji fails to appear for a confirmed booking without prior notice:
- You will receive a 100% refund of the booking amount.
- We will offer a free rebooking with an alternate verified Panditji at your preferred date and time.
- Disputes and claims in this regard will be processed within 7 business days.
Rescheduling
Instead of cancelling, you may request a reschedule:
- Reschedule requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the original booking time.
- Rescheduling is subject to Pandit availability on the new date.
- Rescheduling does not attract any additional fee if done within the allowed window.
- For cancellations within 24 hours where a reschedule is not taken up, no refund will be issued.
How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
To initiate a cancellation or refund:
- Log in to your account and navigate to My Bookings → Request Cancellation.
- Alternatively, email us at punditpujaonline@gmail.com with your booking number and reason.
- Refund eligibility is calculated from the time your cancellation request is received and confirmed.
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method (UPI, credit/debit card, net banking, or wallet).
- Processing takes 5–7 business days after approval, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Razorpay processes all refunds; any delays after initiation are subject to their timelines.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been initiated.
Force Majeure
In the event of cancellations due to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, pandemics, extreme weather, or other force majeure circumstances, both parties may cancel without penalty. A full refund will be issued in such cases, less any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred.
Corporate and Bulk Bookings
Refund and cancellation terms for corporate or bulk bookings are governed by individual agreements. Please refer to your engagement contract or contact us at punditpujaonline@gmail.com for specific terms.
Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with the resolution of your refund request, you may raise a formal dispute via our Support Centre. All disputes are subject to our Terms & Conditions and Indian arbitration law.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
