Terms & Conditions

By accessing, browsing, or using the Pundit Puja Online website, mobile app, or services (collectively, the "Platform"), or by booking any service, you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any applicable service agreements. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. Using it on behalf of a company or organization binds both you and the entity.

Pundit Puja Online operates a portal connecting users — including residential customers, families, corporate houses, and business houses — with verified local pundits/priests for pujas, havans, rituals, weddings, and related services. Offerings include:

• Local or venue-based bookings (home, office, company, temple, religious places).
• Samagri kits (Puja materials, including Gau Shuddh products) and Prasadam delivery.
• Corporate/team-building rituals.

Services are facilitated but performed by independent pundits. Details (pundit profile, fees, inclusions) are provided at booking. Separate contracts govern bulk/corporate engagements.

• You must be 18+ or have guardian consent. Corporations must designate authorized representatives.
• Provide accurate, complete information (e.g., exact location, ritual date/time, participant count, special requirements).
• Prepare venue (clean space, electricity, water); inform of allergies/restrictions for samagri/prasadam.
• Comply with laws: no fraudulent bookings, harassment of Pundits, or misuse of platform data.

Pundits undergo background checks, experience verification, and ratings review. However:

• We believe in best outcomes through the services but do not guarantee spiritual outcomes, ritual efficacy, or satisfaction.
• Pundits are independent contractors; we are not liable for their conduct beyond platform facilitation.
• Ratings/reviews are user-generated and may be moderated for abuse.

All platform content (logos, designs, pooja checklists, ritual guides, software, and databases) is owned by Pundit Puja Online or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal use. Prohibited: copying, reproducing, distributing, modifying, or commercializing without written consent.

User data (ritual details, family info, and corporate strategies) and pundit information shared via the Platform are confidential. Disclosure only with consent or as legally required. Obligations survive termination.

• Fees (pundit charges + platform commission + GST/taxes + samagri/prasadam) are displayed pre-booking.
• Full payment via secure gateways (UPI, cards, wallets) at booking.
• No refunds on completed services.

• Pundit no-show: Full refund + free rebooking. Disputes processed within 7 days.
• Corporate: Net 15/30-day invoicing per agreement.

• User: Per the refund table above. Notify via app/email.
• Pundit: We arrange an alternate within 24 hours or refund fully.
• Force majeure (e.g., weather, pandemics) allows mutual cancellation without penalty.

Services are cultural/religious; there are no guarantees of spiritual results, health benefits, or perfection. The Platform is provided "as is." Samagri/prasadam quality per vendor specs; inspect on delivery.

To the maximum extent under Indian law:

• No liability for indirect/consequential damages (e.g., emotional distress, business loss).
• Direct liability capped at booking fee paid.
• Not liable for pundit errors, venue issues, traffic delays, or ritual dissatisfaction.

You indemnify Pundit Puja Online against claims from your misuse, venue accidents, participant injuries, or violations during services.

Samagri/prasadam delivery, payment gateways, or linked sites are third-party. We disclaim responsibility for their performance, data practices, or disputes.

Reviews and photos must be accurate and non-defamatory. We may remove violations. You grant us a perpetual license to use submitted content for platform purposes.

We may suspend or terminate access for breaches, fraud, or at our discretion. Surviving clauses include: payments, intellectual property, confidentiality, and liability provisions.

Personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy (incorporated herein), compliant with the DPDP Act 2023. We use encryption and report breaches promptly.

Updates are posted on the Platform with notice (email/app). Continued use constitutes acceptance. Please check periodically.

Governed by Indian laws. Disputes resolved via arbitration in Delhi under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (single arbitrator, English language). Courts in Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.

No liability for delays or failures due to uncontrollable events (natural disasters, strikes, government orders, pandemics, or other force majeure circumstances).

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

These Terms supersede all prior understandings, representations, and agreements. No waivers are effective unless made in writing.
